|In response to Re: New Bathroom For Basement|
: I am in the process of completing my basement with a game room, study, cedar closet, and a full bath. The rough-in plumbing for the bath is incorrect. The toilet drain is 9" from the finished wall and the tub drain is 15" from the toilet drain and 14" from the wall. For obvious reasons, the drains have to be moved. Can you tell me where I might find the correct dimensions for the toilet drain, tub p-trap and over-flow along with the shower. In addition, the required pipes for the feeders. I had planned on 3/4" feeder with 1/2" drops to the sink, toilet and shower.
: Thanks in advance for your help!

John, the center of the tub waste depends on the make of tub you are installing. most are from 14-1/2" to 15-1/2". the stool should be 12" from the back wall and mim 15" from the edge of the tub. i usually put the waste at 52" from the tub wall. it depends on the width of the tub and how wide your bath room is on that wall.the stool shall have a mim of 15" from center on both sides. the water for the stoll should be 6" up from floor and 6" to the left of center.1/2" pipe. the tub faucet again depends on you but normal is 30" off floor and spout a mim of 1" clearance from the flood level rim of tub. i usually put a 8" pipe from faucet to spout. shower head again dependes on you. normally 6' 2" off floor.
