: Russell, my sugestion is if you are blessed with a city sewer line within 200 ft of your home tie onto it. upc code says if you are within 200 ft you must tie on to the sewer line. your troubles are then over as far as the sewer line goes. Dale

If you are dumping water outside the home, it may as well go into either the sewer or the septic tank. The sewer in the street will keep your property drier. Terry
