You can connect to the sink drain if you make the connection as far away from the sink as possible, but it would be better to install a new 2" drain pipe. The vent can tie in to any existing available 2" vent. : : 1. The kitchen has a two inch vent thru the roof. Can I use a "Y" pipe and tap into this : vent above where the sink is to avoid cutting another hole in the roof ? : 2. The kitchen has a two inch drain line that runs for about 25 ft to the main line. Can I : use a "Y" pipe to tap into this line for the injection pump or would it be better to run a seperate : 3" line. The house is a walkout basement on a lake that has a washer, dishwasher, kitchen sink, and : full bath dumping into the sump. : Thanks
