Hot Water Heater Sediment needs cleanout

Upon replacing the pop-off valve due to clogging problems, I noted, by feeling with my finger inside, that the side of the tank has sediment collecting. I have heard of using orange juice in the tank, but figure there is a better way. Tank is 4 years old, gas, in otherwise good condition. Currently not putting out as much hot water volume as before. I have flushed the system (twice). Thanks for your assistance.
