|In response to Re: Laundry|
: I just purchased a second floor, apartment style condo with 1 and 1/2 baths. I want to turn the 1/2 bath into a laundryroom by removing the toilet and making that a floor drain, removing the sink and using those pipes for the washer and using the exhaust fan to vent the electric dryer. Is this possible without tearing out any
: walls or floors?
Patty Daher. NO. the stool line will have to become a 2" p-trap,so the cieling will have to come out or the floor to make that change. the lav line will have to be 2", existing line is probably 1/1/2".you will have to run 4" flue pipe (metal) out the roof. good luck with your project.Dale
