The gasket had better seal to the flange if you do not want a leak. There is only one flange and you have the correct one : I'm installing an American Standard Yorkville EL wall outlet toilet. I've got the neoprene gasket as : recommended, but can't seem to figure out how this is going to work. The gasket goes on the toilet's : horn with no problem, but when you hold the gasket up against the closet flange on the wall you can see : that it's going to sit on the surface of the flange. My concern is that since there's a small depression(the : opening tapers down to pipe width) in the flange that the waste will collect in there. Is there a different : type of flange that doesn't have this depression(groove)?
