Slow bathtub drain
Posted by Richard Powell on April 26, 1998 at 01:06:22:
We live in a house that turns 50 this year, and most of the equipment is original and wearing out. Every few months, the bathtub drain starts getting slower and slower, and, as it has tonight, comes to a complete stop. I've tried plunging, Liquid Plumber, Drano crystals, a lot of cussing, and a little bit of prayer. No luck at all. I really don't want to have to spend $80 that I don't have on a plumber who'll fix it in 5 minutes. I'd like to be able to fix it in 5 minutes, and maybe keep it from happening again. What do I do? Answer soon, please. I have a 6-year-old and two 3-year-olds who desperately need baths!
