If it is a complete fibreglass tub/shower unit, then you may never get it into place unless the doorway is at one end of the tub, and the doorway is large enough. Otherwise, you need a tub only unit and then you will be able to jockey it into position without standing it up. I have done this too many times to ever wrestle one down from a standing position. : ...because the room width is exactly the width of the tub. : I can cut up the old tub, but how do I get the new one in ? : Is knocking out a wall the only solution ?
