Bathroom Waste Pipes

I recently received different advice from two plumbers about replacing an existing tub in our bathroom. One plumber told us that if we were to replace the waste pipe of the tub that the waste pipes for the sink and toilet should also be replaced. He told us the reason was that our pipes were probably lead and that once you start moving lead pipes they tend to leak. The second plumber told us that we didn't need to replace the sink and toilet waste pipes and after looking at our pipes he told us that they didn't look like they were lead. My question is, is it necessary to replace the waste pipes under the sink and toilet or can we get away without it? We are concerned because we plan on retiling the floor and wouldn't want to have to rip it up to reach the pipes.
