I have a 22 year old ranch style home. It has a well, septic system, sump pump and watersoftener. Lately when the water softener runs to regenerate, water backs up from the drain pipe in floor some 8 feet away. I can hear the sump pump kick in pumping the water out and the water recides. Why could this be happening and what might I check first. Suggestions welcome. Thanks |
