Underfloor Heating Probs

I have just pulled up the floor boards and laid one continuous length of plastic pipe to heat the bathroom floor by tapping into the upstairs loop of the heating flow. The problem is that I can't get the water to flow throught the pipe I have laid, it just seems to bypass it without warming - there are no blockages and water can flow freely through. The system is an Alpha sealed system with separate flow and returns downstairs and one continuous loop upstairs that I have tapped into as I have already successfully done for the loft. Because of the length of pipe 10-15m, does it need a sparate boost pump or have I done something wrong?
