We recently remodeled our 1938 colonial and used stainless steel for the countertop around the sink (about 30 sq ft). It's been great! The price was about the cost of a laminate and it will outlive all of us. The only downside is that it does scratch; if you like a neat appearance, you can buff it with some polishing compound. |
