The fan unit, less the light, may not be approved for the environment you desire. I have 4 NuTone exhaust fans and only one is approved for a shower environment. That one I do have in a shower enclosure and it came equipped with two lights (1 - 60W and 1 -10W nightlight). The fan does a very good job removing the moist air on its own. I would ,also, be concerned with the thought that you and only you have control of the switch at all times and forever. The codes are written to protect the innocent and the ignorant. Anybody other than yourself is going to think if it's mounted in the shower it must be ok. But if you still want to proceed make sure you have GFI protection on the circuit. If it was me I'd forget about the heat lamp and go with an approved fan/light combo and maybe put a timer on the fan so it can be set to run for an additional 15-20 minutes after the shower is used.
