That did half the job, but the drain itself was plugged with hair also. I was able to snake using the wrong end of the snake in the drain itself. Not too pretty, and not as good as being able to get that stopper off, but it'll do for now. Thanks,

: The best place to snake a tub drain, is through the upper overflow of the drain. You will notice a plate on the verticle portion of the tub, above the lower drain. Terry

: : I have a Hydro Swirl bath in the house I recently bought. The drain plug is integrated with the drain, and I don't see a way to remove it - no screw that I can find. How does one remove the drain plug to clear the drain?
