ralph, you will replace it with pvc not cpvc. just saw it off where it comes out of the wall leaving around 2" or so. you can put a no hub clamp to this lead that will fit the lead and plastic. bring the lead to your local hardware store.if the leak is in the wall call a master plumber to help you on this one. dale.
