: Terry, what is the best way to tap into existing copper water supply lines to run new plastic (CPVC) supply lines off of the existing pipes? (i.e., how do you connect the copper and plastic pipes?)

A good way to transition between copper and cpvc would be with a CPVC/BRASS metal hex transition adapter. They can be had in male and female threads.They are a little more money than the standard CPVC male adapter and copper female adapter, but very strong.
