My whirlpool tub was improperly installed by persons calling themselves
plumbers and the support board attached to the base of the tub broke
in half across the width of the tub. Unfortunately my foolish attempt
at hiring a professional has left me with a serious problem. I purchased
the tub reworked, from a salvage supply store and unfortunately there is
no warranty, which wouldn't cover improper installation anyway. Will this
problem require a return to the manufacturer or other? Your reply will
be greatly appreciated.

P.S.- My husband was a 25year plumber/pipefitter. He passed away in October
of last year. Have truly missed his skills.
