We live on the second story of a three story condo complex. The laundry room is directly below our unit.
The 10 gas dryers in the laundry room vent outside, but when anyone uses the dryers we get a lot of steam/exhaust
clouds around our unit's windows. (All windows in the unit face the same way.) Sometimes the smell of
fabric softener is so strong we have to turn off the A/C or close all windows. We are concerned about
carbon monoxide emissions in the exhaust and how that may be affecting us. Is it advisable to vent dryers
up to the roof? Or is it OK to vent them right outside living spaces? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
