We purchased a tub-shower and after spending the weekend putting it in we happened to notice that there were pinholes and cracks in the fiberglass. We never would have noticed it if the sun hadn't been shining in just the right place. You can imagine we weren't very happy. All we can think of is that the fiberglass was not molded very strong and they are imperfections in the product. Now our question is, which is better... fiberglass, acrylic, etc. Obviously cast iron is more solid, but that's not an option here. The tub-shower is nailed down, cemented in, and pretty permanent! Any advice anyone could give would |
