I have had my pipe replaced from the street to the house in the spring. We have now detected a leak in the house in the hot water line. My plumber initially thought the pipe inside the house was copper, but they will determine that for certain when they go through the slab next week to fix this leak. I heard there was a new national class action suit to assist those of us who did not come under the time frame of the previous one. I live in a town home community, and several of the others on my street have experienced this problem and had to move out while the walls and floors were torn out and the pipe was replaced. Fortuntately, they were covered under the old law suit. Any ideas on where I can seek financial assistance if this turns out to be my worst nightmare? Thank you.
