the best long term repair would be to put it on with a lead joint, but since you do not have the equipment and knowledge to do it, get an E-Z Tach flange from your plumbing supply. It fits on the outside of the pipe and secures with 4 bolts compressing a gasket. This will give you a full size opening in the floor for the toilet to set over which will minimize the possibility for leaking. : : I looked at different plumbing supply stores but it was not clear how I would attach a new flange : I heard something about plumbers using molten lead to make this type connection but I have not found : So, can someone fill me in on how this is accomplished. : Thanks, : Kevin
