In the middle of the night, with nothing running, my water pipes will start vibrating rapidly, sounds like a steady, very loud tone. It will do this for 15-30 seconds and then stop. It's happening every couple of minutes, day and night now. We can't hear water running anywhere (like through a leaking valve) and turning on a sink (e.g.), either hot or cold or both doesn't seem to affect it at all. It's loudest right under our bedroom (wouldn't you know it?) which is also where the water line enters the house. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks - Sleepless in Durham
