When I replace the cheap old tub in my bathroom on the 2nd floor, how can I hook up the drain etc without going through the ceiling in the living room below? I would like to avoid going through the walls beside the tub if possible - although the wet wall at the head of the tub will be opened on the bathroom side (a true 4" space), so I should be able to hook up the supply lines. Do I need a particular style of bathtub? Although I have done quite a lot of plumbing, this will be my first tub. Any advice would be great. Mike |
