: Planning on replacing an existing shower pan. Home was : built in 1963. The drain appears to have lead : surrounding the 1-3/4" drain pipe. How do I remove : and replace the drain fitting? Also, the new pan has : a lip on the sides. I assume this lip goes between the : tile and the concrete moisture barrier (i.e. chicken : wire/concrete)? : Thanks in Advance, : Harvey I am having the same situation here. The old shower pan is not coming off, either, as it is solidly held there by the lead. Any advice would be wonderful!!
