Since a pressure increaser is just another well pump system, your existing pump should have the capacity to be increased to 60-65 p.s.i. and give youa greater volume. the 40 gallon tank is rather small for a residence. You might increase it to 100 gallons. : We have a house with an approximately 40 gallon pressure tank that runs at an average of 35 psi.
