It seems like your expansion tank is too small for the job. You need to know the total system water volume: Boiler+pipe size+length. (eg. the volume for each 100 foot of 1" pipe is 4 gallons). Once you know the volume (eg. 10 gallons) then go to the plumbing store and ask a 10 gallon expansion tank. Louie |
