Many toilets use a strong siphon jet action for flushing. Some toilets in the past used a swirling action before flushing which some have thought worked better in the round bowl. The action of the siphon jet toilet produces a quick flush independent of swirling. The Toto Drake has a very strong siphon jet action. Elongated bowl is not a problem. They are my preference.
