We have a Short Description tender request for the following:

FRAMES AND COVERS, EXTERNAL PLANT GALVANIZED STEEL FITTINGS AND
GALVANIZED STEEL PIPES

Tenders are invited for the supply of FRAMES AND COVERS, EXTERNAL PLANT
GALVANIZED STEEL FITTINGS AND GALVANIZED STEEL PIPES, in accordance with
detailed tender specification.

Closing Date: 22nd January 1998.

The Tender calls for the supply of footway frames and covers (chapter
1), carriage way frames and covers (chapter 2), cast iron accessories
for manholes (chapter 3) steel fittings for manholes and poles (chapter
4) and for galvanized steel pipes (chapter 5). Tenderers may quote for
one or more chapters.

The Authority may enter into a Supply Agreement with the successful
Tenderer(s) for a period of up to three years.

Chapter 1 and 2
The material which will be used for the manufacturing of the frames and
covers shall be either Cast Iron grade 300 or Ductile Iron (Spheroidal
graphite or nodular graphite cast iron) grade 500/7. The frames and
covers are specially designed for the Authority with specific dimensions
and shape.

Chapter 3
The material out of which the accessories shall be manufactured is cast
iron grade 300. The two accessories shall be suitable for manhole
installation.

Chapter 4
The accessories specified in this chapter shall be suitable for manhole
or pole or wall installation and shall be manufactured from mild steel
except for the staples which shall be manufactured from steel wire.

Chapter 5
The steel pipes shall be of 100 mm (4") nominal bore, shall be screwed
socketed at one end and shall be supplied in lengths of 6 meters.

tables.

GENERAL TERMS:

1. In no case must any of the above specifications, terms and quantities
for the products be altered.
2. Quoted prices must be CIF Limassol/Larnaca Cyprus port or airport.
3. Together with the offer, catalogues and brochures (in the English
language) for the above mentioned products must be submitted.
4. The quotation shall be held valid for acceptance or rejection for a
period of���� days from the closing date�����
5. Delivery of products shall be within a maximum of����.months after
the Letter of Credit is opened.
6. Products that are not according to the specifications or offer, the
manufacturer must replace them within �����. Days of delivery at the
manufacturers own expense.

within 20 working days.
