Since receiving no reply to my calcium deposit question...I called on the Culligan Man! He, as expected, told me I live in a very bad hard water area and that the buildup, although surprised to see a complete calcium blockage, said it can happen after 22-25 years. Question #1: Will a water softener truly eliminate the problem or is it a waste of money? Question #2: Can I "flush" the lines myself so I can stop emptying the filters on all of my faucets and appliances on a regular basis? Question #3: Are any of these "magentic" water conditoners worth their salt :) so to speak? Thanks...Geoff |
