Measure from the center of the bolts to the actual wall, (not the baseboard). If it is 13 1/2", then you probably had a 14" bowl originally. Toilets are made to have some space behind them when ruffed in at the correct measurement. : Terry,
: my tank has a leak so I decided to get a whole new one. I got a Crane bowl #3-672.
: The guy told me the tank #3-752 would work on it.
: problem is, when installed it misses the back wall by 1 1/2 inches. The floor flange won't allow it to get any closer than that.

: There WAS an elongated toilet in there and it hit the wall just fine, So I know my pipe is right on the 12 inches required so I don't THINK I screwed up this time. Any ideas???
