Mike:--My Grandmother(rest her soul) used to say " If it's not worth doin' right, then it's probably not worth doin' at all ". We want to install a free standing shower unit in our basement, but don't want to break up the floor and : install a drain pipe. The spot that works the best for the shower is above the floor drain. We think that : we could use an extension base for the shower and have the shower drain go into the floor drain. This : shower not be used very often. Does this seem like an OK thing to do?
