It will work, as long as the old bathtub trap is removed and the drains are run horizontally from the old vent connection. : I would like to add both a bathtub and a seperate shower to an old 2" drain line. This drain was used previously for a shower. My question is, can I tee off the old 2" drain line that is coming out of the ground and go 1'-0" one way for the tub drain and go 6'-0" the other way for a seperate shower. I am planning to add a vent for the shower line, the tub vent is existing from the old shower drain. Is this possible?
