On bathroom remodels, labor is the biggest expense. Nice looking tile can be had for about $200. Plumbing fixtures can be bought for about $600 including the shower base. The tile backer should be some sort of cement board, Durock, Wonderboard, Ect. Don't forget the check out the toilet report for a realy top rated toilet.
