|In response to Re: Ceramic shower pan Repair|
: : Have a 15year old shower (second floor). While replacing door found the wall board behind tile wet and falling apart. This is above the mud pan up a few feet. Mud pan does not appear to be leaking. Should I redo the complete shower or could I try to repair just the walls (if I can find matching tile). Shower work is new to me.
: Bob, Depending on the quality of work the pan could stay, I would tear out all the interier walls and install durorock or wonder board (a cement board). Then retile shower. If you like your home thats what i would do. Just my opinion. Dale's Plumbing Service LMP
