A year and half ago I replaced my old 50 gallon hot water heater (natural gas) with a 40 gallon model also n.g. The last couple months we have noticed that the hot water seems to run out before our shower is over or before the tub is filled for a bath. Can you give me some hints on where to start looking for possible causes. Since purchasing I have never drained/flushed the new tank, but in all the years we had our old tank (12 years) I never drained it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. |
