Plumber installed new Am.Standard tub/shower unit on 2nd floor of old drafty house. He set the anti scald according to code, but by the time it gets to the shower/tub it's 97 degrees. We can't open the walls and insulate at this time. We have no small children and live in northern New England where we would appreciate a HOT shower! Can we bypass the anti scald ourselves/ without involving the plumber? Could you e mail me incase I forget to come back and check the message boards? Thanks |
