: It can be done. There are two ways to pipe them, series and parallel. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. It is safe as long as the gas line is large enough and you either have a large enough flue for the two or install a new flue through the roof for the second one, and the room's ventilation is sufficient. : : I have just purchased a new home and the water heater is only a 40 gal which is not enough for us. : : T Carroll |
