Very few tub installations, "slip in or slip out", but if the 2 drain connections are removed and the wall surfaces removed properly, it will come out. : I need to rip out damaged particle board flooring next to a tub, to replace with cement board. Moving : the tub would facilitate the job, plus allow me to look underneath for damage there, also. I am unfamiliar : with how tub drains are connected to house plumbing. This tub has a weight-type bathtub drain, seems : fairly light to lift, but I don't want to damage any plumbing or seals. Can these type of tubs be safely : lifted up, like a slip in, or are connections a bit more complicated , sealed, etc. The house is approx : 20 yrs old.
