You need a "grout saw" to remove some of the grout so new grout can adhere to the tile. You also have a big job ahead of you to remove it. : The caulking in our walk in shower has mold stains that I've been unable to clean to my satisfaction. It was suggested that I remove the caulking and put in new, but this caulking is hard as a rock, not pliable like I thought caulking should be. It does not lend itself to being easily removed.
