Spouts deliver water, they do not drip. If there is a drip, then the faucet has to be repaired. You may have shot the messenger. : I put in a new tub spout with shower diverter and it's dripping just enough to make a noise. It's a quality spout, bought from a plumbing supply house. Got a fix?
