: Thanks for the great site! I am having a problem with one of three Toto Ultimates we bought per your reccomendation... When the tank is almost done filling up with water after a flush it starts to make pulsating sucking sounds before finally stopping. The toilet is only a year old but the problem has been getting worse. Also I notice a lot of sediment (sand) in the tank as well. What causes that? Any correlation?

It sounds like the fill valve.
Cleaning or replacement may be the answer here.
