: I recently installed a new Watts water pressure regulator. I have noticed that when the water runs there is a humming sound in the pipes. It happens wether you are running hot or cold water. Any idea what it is or what I can do.

You can back the pressure adjustment in and out to see if any debries goes by the diaphram.
You may want to add an expansion tank too.
