I have never "sledged" a cast iron tub out. I remove them the same as a steel tub by rolling them out of the recess and sliding them out of position. : I need to convert a bathtub (steel and porcelin) into an ADA shower area. Seems the most difficult thing to do is remove the tub. I know with cast iron ones, one can "sledge" them out. Fiberglass, one can cut them out. What about steel ones?
