|In response to Re: waste water pipe pitch|
4" pipe can be run with 1/8" pitch, so you would need 3 1/8" of total pitch over the 25'.
: My home is about 80 years old. The terra cotta pipe benieth the concrete floor apparently collaped and can't be cleared using a snake. Instead of busting up the concrete floor, I am considering rerouting the 4" pipe comming down from the 2nd floor, across the basement between the floor joists overhead. It must run some 25' to the other side of the basement. How much pitch is required in such a run? I don't have much head room as it is.
