The length is immaterial until you know the amount of water needed. For 1000 ft. of height you will lose 231 p.s.i. off the initial pressure. : Is there a formula for calculating the diameter of pipe needed to run 800 ft. with an elevation change of 1000 ft. connected to city water, and the final pressure?
