Use a torch and heat the cap until it unscrews easily. You will have to buy a new cap to replace the one you burn the plastic out of. : I have a bathroom faucet (single handle Delta)that is leaking. I need to replace the springs and seats in it, but can't get the cap to unscrew. I've tried spraying it with WD-40 and "muscling" it with the wrench, but nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions?
