A few months ago, we had a new hot water heater put in, and the plumber replaced many of our aged pipes with new copper ones. We immediately had to replace some of the hardware in the downstairs toilet.
Sometimes after we flush the toilet, or when we've run hot water in the sink, or just for no apparent reason at all, a loud moaning sound comes from the vicinity of the toilet pipes.
Is this something we should be overly concerned with (i.e. is it going to explode). It usually stops when we turn the sink faucet on and off, or run hot water in the sink.
Thanks for any advice you can provide.
