|In response to Re: Factory second toilets|
Let's put it this way. Kohler says they destroy the seconds and do not sell them, but I have had customers who purchased toilets and the defect red stripe was in the tank opening. I have also had them purchase Price Pfister faucets that had defects that I have never seen in any purchased from a wholesaler. I thing that Home Depot, etc., buys the entire production for a given time period without any rejects and then lets the user be the final inspector.
: Currently building a house. Due to time constraints I supplied the toilets for the job. Bought Kolher Wellsworth. After they were installed they appeared the tank and bowl did not match up. Later the plumber told me that Home Depot and Lowes sells factory seconds and that was the problem. Is this true? Has anyone heard this before ? What would you recommend ?
: Thanks for your help
