My contractor re-plumbed my home with copper except for the galvanized steel stand pipes that go up to the faucets.
He put a brass fitting between the copper and galvy steel. Is this an acceptable method to avoid rapid corrosion
between the copper and steel? Is lead in the brass likely to leach into the water?
Thanks in advance for the help.
