We had very low pressure through copper pipes (1/2") and had them converted to 3/4" CPVC also a new water softener and hot water heater were added. The water pressure did NOT increase and we are now suspecting that a newer holding tank with a bladder may be the answer to that. However, the water now comes out of the faucet with a strong "chemical" smell which reminds me of the CPVC. Can anyone explain that to me? is it dangerous? is it normal? anything that can get rid of it? Thanks. |
